The religious feud between Soka Gakkai and it's parent temple, Nichiren Shoshu, which excommunicated Soka Gakkai in 1992.

Chanting is the best thing I have ever done for myself. If the organization is corrupt something should be done to change it. I am an SGI member and I am not offended by criticism or questions. My practice is not a worship of other members, including Dasaku Ikeda; even though his writings have inspired me. I hope you find the right answers you are seeking.

The Saka Gakkai expanded because of free religious expression after 1945. However, just because something is popular doesn't make it bad, or good for that matter. Goodness and badness are solely derived from words and actions. A country or land is not intrinsically "bad". The badness comes from the words and deeds of the people living in that land. All the words and actions of Soka Gakkai are devoted to peace, justice and respect for all people.

What's bad about that?
