My guess is that it's not like she's really falling for rbb but just keeping her options open before she & Clark get together because like she says due to Clark always disappearing all the time

nah the love dream is real, it was said at comic con, that that love scene is a reality (from her trip to the future) so although it looks like a dream to lois it does really happen if that makes sense lol
