You guys gotta stop dissing this show. If you haven't watched it yet you don't have a say. I thought it was gonna be stupid too, but it wasn't to me. And of course some of you aren't gonna like it cuz it isn't meant for your age, it's meant for people from ages 2-13 on average. If you say tv sucks these days, you're wrong. Sure, there are alot of awful shows, but ones like these are great in my opinion. You guys need to watch the show first, great artwork, great voice actors, great animation.

@matrixfan127 You might want to take off those rose-tinted nostalgia goggles. If I recall correctly, Johnny Bravo and Ed Edd and Eddy didn't have much sense or morals either. They're all just good, nonsensical fun. Most of the attention Gumball's getting is from the unique concept and interesting delivery. If you were to tell me you were making a show that combines 2D, CGI, stop-motion, claymation, and live action all in one setting, I frankly wouldn't believe you.

You people need to be more open-minded. Sure it's nice to look back, but you lose sight of the future if you look back for too long. Besides, majority of these shows have ended with a bang with their swansongs (the EEnE and KND finales, for example).

I know we all want Stuart Snyder to suffer for his crimes, but it's no use focusing on that alone. I don't know if you see it, but there are many new shows (My Little Pony, for example) that herald a successor to the golden cartoon era we loved.

I give advice for this show not because i hate it, but because i freakin love it. Its just not as good as it could be. You should be scoring first place in a show liek this, not second or thrid. More risky jokes, the kind the CN cencors would go:

This show is awesome and my favorite , i just feel like if this show took more risks with their jokes and references and sorta aimed for a older audience other than Half the middle schoolers and Elementary schools, then this show could go from 2nd or 3rd place in the CN viewings system to 1st. Animation beats everyone else, plots do, you have funny moments, but make some funny insults or something. Make kids feel older for watching the show, is the key.
