  • is it only me or water's vocals sound WAY better and darker???

  • the solo is undermixed... it is too much in the background i think^^

  • Alice grew up lol. Look at the cover.

  • Damn!! This verson kicks ass!!! What a Masterpiece!!

  • Which are the other songs of this demo?

  • This demo, together with the other 3 tracks, has the BEST guitar sound EVER!!!!!

Jeff, PLEASE tell me how to reproduce this amazing sound!!!!

  • This should have been the definite version. The vocals and the solo are beastly.

  • reminds me of amorphis's debut... idk why XD

  • sounds like carcass that vocals

  • sounds more death metal on the original version

    its still awesome

  • jeff growls = EVIL!

  • Is Jeff Waters handling ALL the vocals on this version?

  • @jolemez hell yea !

  • Is this before Jeff had Randy on vocals? Because it all sounds like the same vocalist.

  • @wavpe09 yes that was after the original version. This original version is all one vocalist

  • @6Pantera6Metal6 King Diamond would've owned on these vocals!!

  • @petronovich30 now that would be fuckin sick. 1986 King doing vocals to this? I wish i had a time machine and a lot of money......

  • @petronovich30 hell yeah

all hail the diamond king & or alison

  • Love this versions solo. Like the newer one better though.

  • imbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Holy fuck.. Never heard this version before ang I gotta say it's absolutely great! Ahead of it's time.

  • Jeff's vocals are very death metal like

  • Good thing they got Randy Rampage for this album. Jeff can growl around a bit, but his melodic stuff is shit.

  • how come this demo version is in Eb?

  • @englundisgod isnt the who song in Eb on the studio version

  • no studio version is E standard, i tried to play along with this it sounded like shit. I tried it in Eb it was erfect.

So when I downloaded this track off youtube, i just tuned it up un audacity

  • @englundisgod Is in E but at 430 not 440 standard, like Pantera's Cowboys From Hell Album

  • that would explain it

  • @TheRunikko OMG !! THANKS !!! its so orgasmic to play

  • @Fenderbass387 Haha! no prob!

  • hahah i met jeff waters one morning in ottawa, he is one awesome dude

  • Why the Hell didn't Jeff Waters just do the vocals the whole time? His voice really fits the theme of the song...

  • @Jesse1k yeah... but take in mind... this is just 1 song... if all annihilators theme would be the same... it would be kick ass

  • this is better than the original i believe

  • <3 It's Awesome!

  • these guys are awesome live-saw them back in 2007 at nottingham rock city, ruled the stage\m/

  • ...si ce tineri eram pe cind s a scos piesa..tare piesa:)

  • Vocals on the album are way better.

  • Quiero un polo con esa portada pero cada vez que busco nunca encuentro!! T_T, que buena cancion!!

  • I like this version better but only if it was done faster, and a litle more professional :D

  • holy shit!...this as awesome as the album version!

  • I like the vocals more than the original

  • Jeff Waters is beast in this!

  • vocals are god like in this song

  • a CLASIC OLD SCHOOL SONG ! .. amazing band!

  • OMG, the vocals, he sounds like an early Death Metal vocalist

  • These vocals are fricken Mean!

  • What? Yes the ALBUM, but this track is Alison Hell. I have the actual CD. It's a play on words, to sound like Alice In Hell. If you weren't so imperceptive, you would have picked up on that.

  • The album name is "Alice in Hell"

The song is called "Alison hell"

    That's the difference

  • It's like Slayer. The album is called "Reign In Blood", but the song is "Raining Blood".

  • better than the album version way more raw

  • Metalcore is gay go post this on their video if they are so nice. Annihilator is the shit

  • @ madmagician07 not only is metalcore gay you are a gay fucktard

  • Ahh yes yes, my bad hahaha

  • Alice in Hell is the name of the album, the song's Alison Hell.

  • @Sephiroth1488 yep just like slayer's reign in blood.... but the songs raining blood

  • thre song title is alison hell trhe album is alice in hell

  • This is damn good!!!!! Just how I remember it

  • Comment removed

  • very good song

  • fuckin awesome!!!thrash till death!\m/\m/

  • Yeah. COB totally got it from Annihilator :P

  • In my opinion Jeff Waters is best guitarist ever

  • awesome this is rare jeff on vocals kewl! =) \m/ this tune rocks

  • This rocks !

  • jeff is awesome on vocals

  • sweet solo on the demo version..

  • Like that other dude said can u get the vid it makes the song

  • "Alison!!!!!!!" xD love Annihiltor man \m/

  • can't find the original videoclip on YouTube.

  • hellyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Maybe he sneaks in........Hell, I could use his vocal range, make sure he knows when I'm putting a demo together, lol....Killer range in this one, I didn't realize Waters had such a range! I do like the final, "official" studio version better, but I can't help but wonder if King didn't make a "geist" appearance here.

  • socio el bananiya

  • he is coming

  • alice ou Alisson in hell

  • alison hell

  • ALICE!!!!!!! IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!

  • Not a fan of the vocals in this, I prefer the studio version.

  • Wow, this is good.

  • fuck it all....I just like it

  • his singing here is pretty good, but i like his "album" voice better, idk why

  • Sounds like King diamod

  • I totally agree. The first time I herd this song was covered in the roadrunner united concert, and this came after abigail.. with ripper owens in vocals, jeff and james murphy on guitars...

  • i love hw jeff sings..just kick ass....in my opinion the demo sounds better than the original with the other singer...

  • Annihilators best album

  • i bought this album when it first came out when i was 11 years old. first time i've ever heard this version, though .. very interesting.

  • bass players should deserve more

    credit especially this bassist

    from Annihilator!!

  • Jeff Waters played bass as well as guitar on this album.

  • Isn't that death-metal?

  • i'd call this thrash...awesome!!!

  • It's thrash metal, but sounds like early Death Metal

  • Canadian Bomber.

  • im probably gonna get a whole bunch of people mad but i have to say that this is wayyyy better than any of metallica's "thrash" mainstream bullshit. and way better than anything they can ever do. this is real thrash metal

  • I agree by 100%.

  • have either of yall ever heard kill 'em all or ride the lightning assholes

  • Yeah, and mind you that Kirk Hammett is one sloppy motherfucker. Hammett aka wah-raping one-scale wonder is such amateur that he couldn't play Mustaine's material on original tempo when he joined Metallica. James has blown his voice voice, Ulrich's snare sounds shit as always and that new bassist is so average.

Ride the lightning, Metal Militia, Four Horsemen... Yeah, Dave Mustaine is genious!

    Annihilator > Metallica

  • UHHHHHH............No, Rob Trujillo is fuckin sick. I pretty much agree with you on everything else but that was totally not true. The dude has played with BLS, Ozzy, Metallica, Suicidal and a whole lot of killer metal bands. He is wicked and totally dominates the fucking stage, At least as good as Lomenzo in Megadeth.

  • yea trujillo is great :D

  • im not saying that kirk and james are as good as jeff or that metallica is even good today im just saying you cant say there original stuff wasnt awsome

    but Annihilator does rule

  • he said mainstream, as in The "Black" album through Death Magnetic

  • fuk yea jeff waters kicks kirk and james ass in guitar

  • yeh i think metallica went to shit after cliff burton died, no one ever gives bass players credit, but Cliff made metallica thrash.

  • Annihilator is the best Canadian thrash metal band ever

  • wow what a strange vocals The higher vocals are indeed better for this band.

Usually don't like high vocals but these vocals aren't of my likenings.

  • Jeff Waters rules. Vocals are great

  • The video response is the official "Alice In Hell" version with the intro (Crystal Ann).

  • Intense and evil!! \m/quality trash\m/

  • this versions better

  • bag of tricks was one of my fave albums, this was at the end with another demo.but fuck what an album as was their first!

  • this is real Thrash here

  • one of if not the best metal songs ever, "sitting in the cornoer you are naked and alone" annihilator is metal, one of my fav bands ever

  • I agree! Well said.

  • I'm really glad they went with high singing instead of low singing.

  • gotta love the solo...

    way more shred

but new one is still good

  • Jeff waters is a good singer but he wasnt recognized for it before king of the kill

  • this demo sounds like early death metal. but when rampage sings its thrash

  • Vocals don't make or break a genre. This is thrash musically.

  • Excuse me, but Toberichmoe is right, this really sounds like death metal, and vocals DO a genre, aggressive thrash without harsh guttural voices is pure thrash, but with them, is Death Thrash. Also this demo isn't as fast and speedy as its successor that appears on Alice in Hell.

  • No, Death Thrash would be the incorporation of riffing and drumming styles from both genres. This is purely thrash. Plenty of pure thrash has harsh vocals, be they death style or not. Maybe if this was at the extreme end of thrash musically I could understand... but this is some of the more melodic thrash out there on the whole.

  • Well, the screaming vocals WAS the thing that made Death Metal take apart from Thrash, it's what it started with, but you're right.

  • Actually, there were some notable differences musically. It's very notable that the riffing style became more focused (there was much less emphasis on pedal points in their melodies), the timing would become more complex. You can clearly hear these changes in the early intermediate albums between thrash and death metal. Sure, they're relatively small differences compared to the difference now, but the fact is that there was a clear musical difference even in the earliest examples of death metal.

  • BUT, it started it's departure from Thrash with the vocals.

  • Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I just think it's unfair to belittle the transformation from thrash to death to nothing more than vocals. Sure, the vocals were changing right there at start, but so was the music. They went hand-in-hand. It wasn't just thrash with growls.

  • That's right=)

  • common misconception, death metal bands dont sing they growl. low growl to be precise. if a band actually yells then theyre shitty metalcore and can go die

  • common misconception is that if a band doesn't adhere to your rigid definition of a certain genre, they should 'go die'.

  • metalcore sucks dick lol

anythng wth core at the end is a fuckin joke

  • Grindcore is the only good band with core at the end, carcass is awesome and so is napalm death so your statement isnt completely true. But i still hate death and metalcore bands.

  • wat sucks is that punkcore crap, bunch of guys whos balls didnt even drop yet trying to scream and sing.

  • lol

  • @sandabs Porncore?

  • @sandabs Hey,don't forget grind and old school hc!

  • @sandabs PORNCORE!!!

  • @sandabs to me grindcore is good

  • How about you take a step back...and fuck your own face.

  • YOu just made absoluteley no sense.

  • He and John S never will wind up getting the respect or attention they deserve.

  • It sounds so fresh. Jeff Waters is in my opinion at least in the list of top 5 underrated musicians. Why I didn't say guitarist: he plays drums, bass, sings and is a musical genious in general. he beasically drives the Annihilator-train all by himself.

  • Love the laugh at the beginning. gave me chills.

  • Jeff Waters is singing

  • thats not rampage is it?
