I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8300 GT inside my Dell Inspiron 530. It has not failed me yet! To me, I think the card is just fine for the computer. It runs Aero on Windows Vista and 7 perfectly fine, and it also runs games pretty good too. In case you're wondering, this card has 128 MB of memory onboard, which as I said, is perfectly fine for running Aero and other graphically intense apps.

You failed to give us a good shot of the back of the box which is full of lots of text info about the card. Same goes for the text on the side although I was able to stop the video and frame roam enough to read all of that.

The only GPUs that actually are certified for the Mac Pro are the 7300, 2600 XT, 8800, and the 3870. Those are the ones that I know are certified, but I know that there are more.

I have one. It can run Oblivion on full, but I can tell it'll slowly start to stop running games on full. Crysis needs to have things on medium, and Fallout 3 won't run on full. Still a really nice card.

yes they do 78% of movies are edited on a mac, using apple's final cut studio, we have the NVIDIA Quardro cards on the mac pro specifically made for the purpose of rendering, plus this card is for both macs and PC's

when i went to the dreamworks studio, they have a giant PC with so many graphics cards plugged right into the system. it looked like a server rack and just had like over 100 cards lined up.

you need REAL power to do CGI films. and now adays, pretty much every film has computer generated figures, all which can never be done on a mac. im guessing for most films they use macs to put the clips together and thats pretty much it. but the PC's prolly make all 99% of those clips.
