I do not know if this helps but as a fireman I feel it would be the greatest honor for me to be selected by God to give my life. There is a place of honor, prepared in heaven for our fallen. I am sure your fireman made it there. Turn your tears to Joy and bask in the living memories.

My brother was a volunteer firefighter for awhile, and my oldest son was going to the steps to become on, he didn't, which now I'm thankful for, altho I supported him 100%, these men were so loved and dedicated, such a shame. But they went doing what they loved and were dedicted too. RIP Kevin and Austin.

  • Rest in peace my brothers. Ever time any firefighter in the world answers a call. You now respond from a bigger station. To guide and protect us on ours. Our hearts and prayers go out to your family.

  • What a sad musical soundtrack. I really love this video on YouTube. I cried when I watched this video because Ive always wanted to become a Fireman since I went to middle school.

  • I tear up every time I watch this. I miss firefighting and I wish I was still down there working with the N. Cherokee boys. More than anything I wish I could have been there to show my support at the vigil and the funeral.

As hard as its going to be at times for those NVFD guys that knew them and knew them well...keep your heads up and drive on. You know dang good and well 17 and 25 wouldnt want you to do anything else but charge in head first brave, strong and proud and slay that dragon.

  • Having lost a Captain, a brother, a friend, in a fire, I feel your loss with all my heart. God's grace and peace be with you, my heart breaks for you all

  • Great vid, stay low and stay safe ya'll.
