While I myself say that the Aventador is the better car: cheaper, better round a track, better looking, and just as wild, in the end i have to concede the point. As amazing as the Lambo is, it's not in the Bugatti's class. 1200Bhp, 267mph, and still keeping a feel of luxury to it. It's truly a masterpeice.
If you're talking about the Veyron, to me that car is like a woman who is amazing in the sack, but is merely only average in physical looks. So while I agree its an amazing piece of engineering, I just can't get over how butt ugly it looks. =/
The Aventador on the other hand is just stunning beyond belief and its performance while not the same as the Veyron is still pretty damn good. So I'll take a little performance loss for supermodel looks anyday. =)

@Swe412 I agree. Koenigsegg squeeze 989Bhp out of a V8, when Bugatti squeeze 1,001 (not much more) out of a 2 times larger W16. The Koenigs are much more high tech. Also, They look amazing. But they just don't have the Lambo-Factor. Unless you've ever driven a Lamborghini, which I am lucky enough to have done thanks to a track day voucher, you'll understand that nothing replaces that Lambo Factor :)

The Aventador may have the power, but it is still a V12 Lambo: it is not as agile nor tossable as say a 458. But it does have the power advantage, so it is anyone's game.

The Aventador would destroy an F1. In a straight line or around a track, and in terms of luxury. Not to mention a used F1 will run close to two million, if you're even able to find one. The Aventador is about three-hundred and fifty grand.
Veyron SS lacks the handling / cornering necessary to be at the top of the board, that's why the Aventador, Mclaren MP4, and Ariel Atom V8 all beat it - although in terms of its weight, acceleration and general performance the Atom is really still in a league of its own, and the Veyron SS is in terms of sheer Top Speed.
Nevertheless, I'm very impressed with the Aventador, although in terms of sheer design the Gallardo is still my favourite.

@Thr998 The Veyron SuperSport was built with some of the best mechanics for any car world wide... It's suspension, brakes, tires, etc. are all amazing. The only reason it lost to the Aventador on a lap was due to the weight of the cars. The Aventador can brake faster, meaning it can go fast up to the last second while the Veyron needs to slow down earlier.
MP4-12C is made by McLaren...McLaren is an F1 team with loads of racing knowhow and has won 1 out of every 4 F1 GPs...Let alone that they tested and developed the MP4-12C on the Top Gear test track!It's no wonder that it beats the Lambo on the track..The wonder is that 1.5 tons of italian passion and lunacy is only 0.3sec slower than the McLaren!!!

There is a reason tuned cars don't count when it comes to supercars. They just do not last. The Bugatti made his own liege and is far from Lamborghini but is not to far.

@performancelosreyes leather seats dont=luxery. i could get more luxury in a honda, everybody goes on and on about the veyrons "luxury" but it has a stereo, bluetooth, some nice seats and thats about it. kind of standard stuff for any car, an avetador for example. the veyron is fast in a straight line and thats it. even then there are better cars for the job...

@dansulo1 thats because the giant 8 liter quad turbocharged engine in the bugatti is a W16 and 16 pistons gives a big disadvantage when it comes to cornering if you were to put these head to head on a track with straights then the bugatti would most likely win

That is why the Bugatti costs more, its because its made from quality parts using ingenious engineering. Who is the dumbass now? Please add up the cost of new pistons, engine mounts, transmissions etc from a tune up car, and tit for tat, the bugatti cost far less to repair for the same usage.

@OlCapitain normal maintenance for a veyron costs so much and has to be done so often that at the end it would still be a lot cheaper to own that aventador, u gotta change all the fluids really often, a single turbo has to have regular maintenance every 4k miles tops, imagine a quad turbo veyron

@dansulo1 well all super cars need that, and yes the veyron would be more expensive, but if you tuned up the aventador, you would be spending thousands on your car every few laps. There is a reason tuned cars don't count when it comes to supercars. They just do not last. What is the point of a hot car with 1000 bhp and 800 pounds of torque when it breaks down after a few hundred feet?
