this song is not just a music soothing to the ears..
not just a song sold for the sole reason of gaining profit..
not just a song composed for the sole reason of gaining popularity..
BUT THIS IS A SONG COMPOSED FOR US..
FOR US TO REALIZE THE VERY DISEASE OF OUR SOCIETY..
THE SOLE REASON WHY THIS COUNTRY IS STILL FUCKED UP UNTIL NOW..
LISTEN TO IT AND FEEL IT PIERCE YOUR HEART..
THE SOUND OF IT IS LIKE AN ABANDONED BABY IN THE STREET CRYING, LOOKING FOR COMFORT AND CARE..

Mula ng makita ko ang lupang ito
Ever since I saw this land
Nakita ko rin ang munting apoy sa puso ng tao
I also saw the little fire within the hearts of men
Ginatungan ng kabulukan hanggang sa lumago
Which is being fueled by the rotten system until it grew
Ngayon ang puso'y may takot sa lupang pinangako
Now hearts are full of fear in the promised land
reynatala 4 years ago
Ang lupang pinanggalingan ko'y may bahid ng dugo
The land where I came from has been tinted with blood
May mga lorong di makalipad nasa hawlang ginto
There are birds who can no longer fly away from their golden cages
May mga punong walang dahon
There are trees without leaves
Mga pusong di makakibo
Hearts which can no longer make any sound
Sa mga pangyayaring nagaganap sa lupang pinangako
About the events that are happening in the promised land

"The Apl Song" tells about the hardships
of Allen Pineda, member of the Black Eyed.

Asin (sometimes spelled ASIN,
in all capital letters)
is a Pinoy rock and folk rock band
from the Philippines.
They were formed during the 1970s
and originally known as
Salt of the Earth.
