I'm glad you've been able to re-stretch your labret. You inspired me to stretch mine, and it's at 00g now, and my ears are at 2 inches (51mm). I'm debating on whether to go larger in my labret.
I personally think that the circular labret looks better on you than an oval one would. My labret hasn't caused me any gum recession: I've asked my dentist.
if anyone can help me my ears are both at 16mm which i think is 5/8' they have both been to 3/4' but i down sized to 14mm on both of them and am stretching back up to 3/4' but i stretched to 16mm the other day and my right ear is quite healthy but in a tiny section of my ear it goes quite thin? if anyone can help me thicken it it will be appreciated
@hayesmeister14 take your plugs out completley for 2 months and apply either bio oil, emu oil, vitamin e oil, jojoba oil 2 times a day. your ears will thicken and then stretch back very slowly. sometimes this doesnt work, it takes time.
@hayesmeister14 once your lobe is thin or part of the lobe is thin it is really hard to thicken it up iv been trying to thicken up my left ear for the past year and a half and iv had no sucses my ears are 30mm btw :)
You got that gum recession from wearing that jewelry. The backings aren't concaved at all and that makes it rub. You could prevent that by going oval and wearing a deep concave t back. Sucks man but for real oval out and concaved will save your teeth and slow down the recession.
@notdave17 this is true. i dont know that going to oval makes much difference, but im sure at that size the backs of the plugs should be concaved to fit the jaw curve. save those teeth!

@brethourj Thank you for watching. Good luck on your stretches. I wish my lobes were back to where they were.

Oval labret.!
It looks better in my opinion, and it stops the reduction of your gums
