i take my tbss on vacations like 200 miles away in summer heat and i was just wondering if there was any overheating issues with this cam or would you not take it on long drives like that? u said its a great dd cam. i hate to be a pain but i dont wanna get the wrong cam. what do you have done to the colling system if anything? thanks for your help.
@BLACKLACDTS No problem...I take my TBSS on trips all the time. In May I put 2,000 miles on it in a week. And I usually average 400 miles a week driving in ATL. No heating issues. I do have a 160 therm. and C6 efans. (LS! fans are better)
@coderedMSY i keep bothering you but i really like your truck! lol i really wanted to sound stock so i was goin to go with the stealth cam but i keep thinkin if im goin to cam it i should just get a better cam. i will also need electric fans i dont have those yet. i think i will do the ls1 fans aswell. thanks again your a good person.

@blown06tc stock stall...this cam is pretty mild. Runs great on the stock stall, but of course putting a better converter in it will always be better.
Thanks! It has changed some since this video. I added a black blank rear valance that hides the rear exhaust. Any little lowering helps the looks of the TBSS. Good luck with your modding.
@coderedMSY yea i know they look killer lowered. i have a stall,cai,junk tune lol,and thats about it for now for performance but i debadged the rear of the truck and did black overlays in the door "SS" emblems and also added the keystone good hood(2002 camaro ss style). looks good for now but it need to be about 2" lower and half second faster! lol 2 issues which i plan to fix this year. my goal is to hit a 12.99 all motor,stock cam full weight on stock 20s. i already ran 13.40 so 4 tenths to go
What the cam specs? I love the sound man! Iv got a 06 ss silver and love it! Can I get info on yours? And where did you buy it/how much?

@KillaDelph3232 Just adjust the sensor linkage for the airbags. You can see the linkage by just looking into the wheel well.

@KillaDelph3232 Used kbees coilovers and DJM control arms with struts. Rear end is adjusted air bags with a adjustable pan hard bar.

@chevelle454ss1 cam is not designed for the rectangular port heads that the G8 has. Cam was spec'd for cathedral heads that the LS2 uses.
