As far as the height thing goes: if they can make hobbits and a dwarf in the Lord of the Rings movies then they can make scenes where a guy can match her height. Just use platforms and don't show the ground! There's tons of camera tricks out there to do it.

I met Tricia in Tulsa Okla. I was the stage manager for the Trek Expo and drew her pic in ink for her, she was wonderful and approachable and very sweet. She was top notch at our show and I hope to have back at some point. Great interview!
