  • I would prefer natural remedies for this. This shampoo probably has chemicals in it that may cause more damage. Try apple cider vinegar, carrot esstential oil, jojoba essential oils or olive oil. I have psoriasis and I had to shave off my hair. I wear wigs b/c of the embarrasement. So if you're suffering with the same problem, try the natural remedies. I know someone with the same problem and it worked for her. After seeing the results, i've decided to try it for myself!

  • Cortizon

  • The psoriasis looks so fake lol.

  • Get rid of scalp psoriasis FOREVER! No messy washes, FDA approved. (877) 414-2426

  • When I was hospitalized with psoriasis at the age of 23 I was in a ward with dozens of other sufferers. One woman in there was over 90 and had just suffered her first outbreak of psoriasis in her life. If there are people out there who jeer at or misunderstand sufferers, remember, it could still happen to you one day!

  • I COMPLETELY got rid of psoriasis by no longer using ANY shampoo or soaps in my hair

When my hair gets too oily, I rinse with a 1/2 cup of grapefruit juice or OJ to remove excess oils.

DO NOT use any more soaps/special shampoo's, they just get you hooked on them since it never cures it.

My technique is not only free, it saves you money by not buying the lousy harmful shampoo!

The soaps kill the Ph in your skin, let nature get it back to normal

I had it for 25 years before I figured this out

  • @Culturein2Chaos Sunlight, Vitamin E Cream or Hydrocortizone cream. The winter can be harsh to those with psorisis.

  • I've had it for about five years now untreated. I'm saving up to see the doctor. MOney goes towards maintaining the family first. I've always had bugging me through some part of my life like a wart or something. This is just one more thing but I am 28 about to be 29 so I have some time to save and seek effective treatment. Reading all this made me want to share haha

  • laying out in the sun works really well for me, it heal it on my back and stomach but my scalp, nothing i would have to shave my head bald for the sun to get rid of it.

  • @NeneBoo589

ever tried dovobet?? It works really well.

  • Psoriasis is an auto immune disorder which is caused by an imbalance in the ratio and activity of T-helper lymphocytes, the only real way to treat this disorder & the root cause is by using immune suppressive drugs & eating a healthy diet. i suggest you talk to your GP. People who suffer from Psoriasis should also be aware there is a form of arthritis that only people with Psoriasis can get called Psoriatic arthritis, i suggest anyone with Psoriasis look into this also

  • @DibbersPage

UVB treatments are highly successful and much safer than internal medicine. So no pills are NOT the only real way to treat it.

  • @lonewatchman They are when all these procucts fail, i know full well about this issue as i live with it as do members of my family, i also have the chronic form of Psoriatic arthritis that may strike anyone who has or may have had Psoriasis. My life has turned around since i stopped smoking as much, drink lots of water, clean natural foods and nothing out of a tin, my meds, meditation, polly tar products have changed my life, ive got a lot of it back just by cleaning up my lifestyle.

  • @DibbersPage Very Good info how we check about arthitis

  • A 24 year psoriasis sufferer myself. I recommend upon professional advice, using UVB Narrowband for Psoriasis. Cleared Psoriasis in 6wks (noticeable difference in 3 wks). The right emollient is the key too!

  • Living with psoriasis for 24 yrs covered head-to-toe. Only in the last 5 yrs managed to stay clear thru' uvb narrowband therapy. To keep the psoriasis clear, I use the 9 tube unit on a maintenance basis: once per fortnight (2min/side for skin type 2). Using UVB Narrowband lamp to me is a convenient home use treatment. Life changing life-time investment i.e. back to playing my favourite sports e.g. racquetball and swimming.

Yes its expensive...but its nothing like you stated.

I use Alphosyl. I only have a weak form but it keeps mine under control and it lasts a while.

The way they were using it in the ad you would burn through a bottle in no time.

  • i youse xamiol it takes away the scalp and the imflamation. i yoused it for upp to two weeks and after that all gone but the írritating thing about it is that it is a smal tube and costs a fortune and it comes back if u stop the treatment for 2 weeks

  • Elocon Scalp Lotion is great at clearing psoriasis. I had patches on my neck and used the lotion and it cleared perfectly. The lotion slightly stings/burns the first time you use but instructional use will clear it. In the UK, Elocon Scalp Lotion is a Prescription Only Medicine so go and see your doctor !!

  • I have found a cure to psoriasis

    > You need to purchase Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol, cotton balls and Polytopic Antibiotic Ointment

    > Wet the cotton balls with the alcohol and rub onto your red psoriasis to clean the area thoroughly

    > Wet the cotton balls at least 3 times to clean the area.

    > Then rub some polytopic ointment on the redness.

    > I usually do this in the morning and at bedtime.

    > My psoriasis has disappeared.

  • Doesn't the alcohol sting on your skin?-_-

  • We have a skin cleanser which has also had good results in reducing psoriasis, eczema and other conditions. Have a look, see what you think.

  • is this shampoo called clobex????coz my dermathologist recomended me a clobex shampoo and she told me to apply it on my scalp within 15 min then after that rinsing it to water..is that shampoo is the same as my doctor'srecomended @ me?

  • Yes that is Clobex. I use the lotion on my right elbow and knee. Now I have some redness and itching on my scalp, so I've been rubbing the lotion there as well.
