  • The design of Devious ballet boots forces your weight way too far forward. Try cutting 1/2" to 3/4' off of the heels. this will allow you to put the majority of your weight on the heel rather tan the toe.

  • How I wish there was someone here in Orange County that was into BB because I have started to make my own pair with the weight going on the heel and mefitarsels and a stiff ankle for all day comfort. If I cound find someone in the area we could make two pair. Just for research I got a pair of Dievious and had to stuff them with clay and extend the toe and can now walk a little without hanging on. Really I would like to see them become more popular.

  • hello, very good first time, very happy to see yoru first steps...

don't stop to practice and I m sure you will be acomodate better in few hours of practice

  • I appreciate the feedback. Been able to get in a little more walking lately (damn work trips getting in the way), but I've noticed that I need to improve my pointe stance. Any suggestions?

  • Not too bad at all. Try locking your knees though and you'll find more power for your ankles if you get what I mean?

    :-D

  • Thanks for that :) I think I know what you mean, I need to stretch some of the tendons a bit better so I can actually walk with straight legs :)

  • Yes!!! Exactly. You have what I consider to be athletic legs- having seen them - so it shouldn't take you too long to stretch them out. But, to stand straight in these you have to adjust your whole body's posture. It's a trip well worth taking. x
