this is so amazing. I agree with glenndalestroh! how can you beef on someone for how they draw. I draw and i dont start vague and then start filling in details. theres not a right or wrong way of drawing its just the way someone draws. but anyways this is probably your best drawing in my opinion. do you go to school for art and if so where?

nice work. This I buy, unlike that hack at theportraitart. Note how this is done people. You start vague to get your general proportions right, then start filling in details. Unlike the other hack who can magically draw things in empty space with no point of reference to the other marks, yet somehow be in perfect proportion and relation to everything else, even knowing where minuet details belong before he has even established the size of his drawing.

so not knockin this guy id die for this talent, but youre beefin someguy for being able to draw from sight, and as a matter of fact theportraitart guys wasnt proportionate so dont beef somebody for bein able to draw and it not take him forever. he is prob like me and has done it so many times he can reproduce it without too much error off the top of his head

I use ordinary pencils like 3B, 5B and so on and for this drawing I might´ve used a black and a white marker as well (can´t really remember actually :P)

Extremely good likeness! The expression particularly amazing; it is very deep and gives a hint of the pain he's in. I can't stop looking at it.

My only criticism is that one the left side of his head (his right) the cheek seems a little too lumpy and the hair is a little to spiky. The skin on the cheeks and forehead could use a little more depth too.

Have you photographed or scanned it? I'd like to see a higher resolution version of it.
