Wolfgangs Vault has most of the early Doobies at Winterland and the Fillmore. This show was at the Cow Palace I was there - Tom Johnston,Pat Simmons,Jeff Baxter,Tiran Porter,John Hartman,Keith Knundsen, Mike McDonald,The Memphis Horns and a half dozen "Little People" - it was quite the seen man. Pablo Cruise opened then King Crimson ( almost got booed off ) Great,Great show.
I was about 11 when this Album came out. I used an entire weeks allowance to buy it. Played this song over and over. I still have the original album that I bought This is the most worn song on there. It rocks still today The CD version kinda lacks the feel of the old style vinyl!
if you type in the doobie brothers 1976, there is footage of jesus is just alright and take me in your arms that were post a month ago. There use to be more songs from this particular concert and I wish someone would repost them along the remainder of the concert.
Can you please post more songs from this particular concert soon? I really miss hearing it. This is when Tom Johnston singing and guitar playing sounding his best in concert.
CAN someone PLEASE post the studio version of this tune??

A rarity ... Johnston and McDonald on the same stage in the '70s. Great song, great clip.
Someone needs to release this show onto DVD! :)

Doesn't measure up to Tom's earlier work in the Doobies.
