  • Fabulous! Marion was indeed a character; caught him at the Berea festival a couple of times. Still treasure that June Appal record; here he sounds like he just came out of a stint with Bob Wills!

  • WoW I was so excited to see this on youtube he was a great friend of my dads and I use to go to his house with my dad when I was a baby and sit and listen to them play for hours on end dad played the gutiar and Marion played the fiddle man I wish I cold go back there..

  • I play bluegrass music with his nephew Harlan

    on monday nights. Harlan tells me stroies about how him and marion use to play bluegrass together.

  • Marion was such a character. I spent many an afternoon at his trailer home in Isom, Kentucky, listening to his fiddle and friends.
