While it's true they are smart and well-intentioned, forgiving non-law abiding citizens with cabinet posts is not the right answer. People need to lead with their brains AS WELL as integrity and character. If that is not somehow regulate, if they are not held remotely accountable, then indeed, they are not fit to lead. There must always be a standard of measure. That standard needn't been completely unforgiving or without leniency, but it MUST exist.
