I am actually getting quite sick of fake top gear tasks like this. After a while they are just not that funny and annoying if anything. Its three 40 something men who can't even put a simple kit car together. AND THEY CLAIM TO BE EXPERTS. I actually agree with alot of what they say but they are so hippocritical when they commend the engineering brilliance that this country has to offer and then go on doing something as stupid as this.

They completely refuse to review any domestic cars not in the mainstream (they will review a VW Scirrocco but not a korean car that actually performs better simply because its korean). They have all done other documentaries that were just as funny, but technically much better than this tripe.

That business of filing tools is Swiss/German manufacturing 101 stuff. They claim if you file your tools you always know where they are and don't spend a lot of time (wasted) looking for them. Clarkson spent half his time throwing his tools all over the shop and then couldn't find anything except the hammer.

I love this show and I think Clarkson is briliant but that is my one and only gripe about him. I know about cars and I specialise in cylinder head recon. But I can see the flip side of that. The majority of people that like cars don't know the birds and the bees of them. I can probably class myself as lucky that I was brought up around cars and taught them from an early age :)
