@thermalzz actually asshole it keeps dragging you to part 2 part 3 part 4 and it still doesnt end and there is no part 5 so i will agree with the guy you are arguing with
I'm very suprised that he had Mike press the flash composition through a screen once the Aluminum Powder was added (dangerous). I would have thought that a three screen pass of the Potassium Perchlorate and Sulfur would have taken out all of the lumps. If the Aluminum Powder had lumps, then they bought the wrong aluminum powder. I notice on the LBS website though that they use the "diaper" method of mixing the oxidizer and fuel (safest IMO).
@Doirche That's how it's most often done in the industry. Screening multi pound batches of flash is nothing unusual, nor is it particularly dangerous for this composition.
@lilmarine93 Salutes usually don't have any stars and a charge of flash powder instead. flash powder is not a HE neither is it classified as a HE by the ATF.
@nixrate I already know whats in salutes. The ATF does consider is a HE...

"re-defined flash powder in some instances (loose powder and bulk salutes - I'm not even going to try to define what they mean by "bulk salutes") as a high explosive." Prove that wrong
@lilmarine93 This is a change of law into a already existing category for simplicity as they obviously deem flash powder more dangerous than gunpowder (which it is). From a scientific view flash powder is a LE, like black powder, which is my statement. The ATF would acknowledge this as is stated above the line u c/p'd. All ur stating is a change in law as stated in my first line. The word classified is perhaps a bit loose.
why they do this to the cow thats not normal imagen someone do this to u

@lilmarine93 Actually no, what’s in the salute is a low explosive. Flash powder is subsonic not supersonic.
The ATF doesn’t know what it’s talking about.

@ExothermicVideos i already know that haha. I was telling him that is what the ATF considers it. Just to make it harder for people to make

@lilmarine93 Oh I see, my bad. Yeah the CPSC and NFPA are the same.
