  • does this kit come ready to race or do you have to build it and like buy your own radio and tires and stuff.

  • YOU HAVE TO BUY AN ENGINE AND RADIO GEAR AS D8T DOES NOT COME WITH IT, ITS THE SAME CAR AS THE HPI TROPHY 4.6 BUT YOU GET THE ENGINE AND RADIO GEAR WITH TROPHY 4.6 PLUS IT COST A LOT LESS. THE ONLY PARTS THAT ARE DIFFERENT IS THE ALUMINIUM CHASSIS PLATE. TROPHY IS 3MM THICK, D8T IS 4MM. THE FRONT STEERING ON D8T ARE PLASTIC SPINDLES THE TROPHY HAS ALUMINIUM KNUCKLES.

    SHOX ARE DIFFERENT TO, CARS ARE THE SAME, I GOT BOTH CARS AND THERE AINT NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM RACING ON TRACK......

I RACE WITH THE HB LIGHTNING STADIUM 2 PRO, HB D8 & T AND THERES NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH CARS IN HANDLING OR SPEED ON ANY TRACK (USING SAME ENGINE). I SURPOSE YOUR GONNA SAY A LIGHTNING AINT THE SAME AS A TROPHY HA HA. YOU FOOL ! THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HB D8 Vs LIGHTNING / TROPHY IS A SLIGHTLY LONGER CHASSIS, FRONT STEERING SPINDLES, PLASTIC ALL IN ONE BATTERY / SERVO TRAY AND SHOX, WHICH US REAL RACERS UPGRADE ANYWAY..

  • @RathaSlayer IF YOUR A BASHER OR ONLY HAVE A BUDGET FOR ONE CAR TO RACE THEN THE D8 OR D8T IS THE WAY TO GO NO DOUBT ! BUT WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN RACING FOR YEARS AT TOP LEVEL WITH A BIGGER BUDGET YOU CAN MAKE ANY RC CAR PRODUCE GOOD RESULTS WITH THE RIGHT UPGRADES ! I MYSELF PREFER TO MODIFY MY CARS USING DIFFERENT MAKES OF PERFORMANCE PARTS AS IT PROMOTES MORE SPONSORING. THE HB D8 IS FAST* OUT THE BOX BUT I CAN MAKE IT MUCH FASTER* AND WEAR-FREE WITH DIFFERENT UPGRADES. [ *USING SAME ENGINE ]
