Sounds like you're implying that anyone who disagrees with the tactics employed by your organization, must by default be a lost soul. Interesting. Even if they're daily communicants, who pray the rosary daily, spend their time between adoration and getting involved with good works, evangelizing and are sincerely seeking to live holy lives? They are lost souls? In my order, we're encouraged to consider noone a saint, except those deemed so by holy church. Not even our obviously holy founder.
cantante444, I believe you misunderstood. An ECYD Coworker is someone that is spiritually called by Christ to offer one summer of their life in service to him. Not everyone is called to be a coworker. We consider this our vocation. Each person has a different vocation. All who follow your order were called through their vocation to do those acts of prayer and service. It is a wonderful thing that they are called to live holy lives. No one is ever considered a lost soul, Christ always forgives.

If they thought you had a vocation they would find the money. Rather if you had friends with money they would make sure that you would be there at no cost. Just seen it for myself.
You will have a great time doing it all, then they will pressure you into believing you have a vocation to the consecrated life. I was pressured into it as my sister.

yeah, they have rules, as in everywhere, but they are just basic as not to wear clothes with cleavage, or you can't be on your cell the whole day, stuff like that, but once you're there you really don't care about those things.
YOU SHOULD GO, you'll love it!

How does this group do spiritual direction? Do they allow members to pick their own spiritual directors, confessors, etc. (Canon 990)? What are their activities CONCRETELY that are not related to fundraising or recruiting?
