One point though - while they have used the engine from the Audi R8 5.2 V10, the 518bhp motor has been boosted by twin superchargers, NOT an electric engine (yet) to produce a massive 740bhp. They have plans to introduce a model with an 148bhp electric motor which will boost total output to a huge 888bhp, while powering the car, emission free and silently, around town.
@gafs01 hello, Im wondering if Hispano suiza (and this model in particulary) still being a Spanish car. I though it was over. Do u have any info about it? Who designed this car? Germany? What a mess, im confused! :P
It is originally, yes (with a Swiss head of design). While they still make aero engines they haven't made cars for decades but were undeniably the makers of the most luxurious cars of their time during the 20's & 30's. They are actually suing the German maker of this car for using the name, even if he has removed the hyphen from between Hispano-Suiza.
