1969 Ampeg Gemini G-12 Tube 1x12 Combo Amp Amplifier

Have one.. think it's a 1968.. all original from what I see... jensen blue in back.. in NJ. Just a great amp.. classic.. muddy to clean sound and effects. Maybe looking to sell.. any idea on pricing?

There is no way to get enough drive for a reverb if you stick it in before the preamp. That switch seems to be invisible here. The G-12 DID have an after-beat switch on the trem though, so that is what he's probably referring to though he shows his lack of knowledge with the amp.

Sounds a bit like my V4 with less balls. Pretty bassy sounding. I love Ampegs, but I'd take my Gibson Falcon over this thing any day.

Falcon's sound good (love the verb and trem on those) but they're so darn quiet!  That whole RVT series of amps Gibson built were wayyyy underpowered. A falcon cranked to 10 would be drowned out in even a relatively sedate band situation. This G-12 probably pumps out a good deal more volume.
