Really this technology would work anywhere. It can also be used to decrease the garbage that is going into the landfills. There are a lot of things that could be done with Methane and it isnt limited to developing nations. It would have a major effect on US, GB, Russia, China or anywhere else as well. It could be done in ways that would be really a simple plugin to the existing infrastructure with very little change.
