very interesting, ive found that with theraphosa species the mating is very unique compared to other species. they seem to be very receptive to mating and comunicate through low pitch buzzing noises

They do a lot of communicating when they mate...if you notice in the video, Zilla would tap him to signal him when she needed a break and he responded well.

How do you know if T's are ready to mate?? I mean how would you know if they have made sperm webs in the past (not in your care). I have a couple T's that i want to mate but they havn't made sperm webs in my care so im not sure weather i should wait or just put them together and "see what happens" so to speak??

If I don't know if the male has made a sperm web, I go ahead and attempt to mate them anyway...this will trigger the male to make a sperm web if he hasn't already...
