As certain singers at my church would say, "Listen to the words and not the voice." :-) We'll all have great voices in Heaven and we will still be praising the Lord.

The bible says to make a joyful noise.. it doesn't matter to the Lord if you are the best singer or not.. what matters is what is inside you.. how you live your life..that you praise him.. This man is singing to Jesus.. and I say thank you Lord Thank you LOrd.. He is doing a good job!

Okay, he's not the greatest singer in the world. However, the Bible says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. It doesn't say you have to be good. I admire him for having the courage to get up there and sing in the first place. I'd be a basket case, lol.
Let's give the poor guy a break. He obviously knows he's not a great singer, otherwise I'm sure he wouldn't have worn the Groucho disguise. jk... Another thing, this could have been a dress rehearsal with an Amen Track playing to make it seem real for all we know. I admire his courage and clearly he's sincere so more power to him! God Bless his heart!
This guy's not trying to win a contest or anything. What you see here is a strong, humble, and sincere man doing his best to please the lord. I'm sure he knows his voice is horrible but it doesn't matter. It takes me back to my roots in a way. I am now grown with a family and attend a huge church with unlimited resources and professional talent. It's awesome, but I can truly feel the spirit in this gentleman singing this song. It blessed me and I truly believe that God blessed him for obeying.

people who make light and fun of those who try their best are cowards. this man was not on a tv show, nor trying out for a contest. he was in a church some where, and those folks seemed to accept him. to take a video like this and use it just to ridicule someone is just wrong. there is right and there is wrong, (irregardless of your beliefs), and this is wrong. you are spineless cowards, losers who try to justify your own pathetic existence by scorning others.

He subjected everyone to horrible singing, if people want to laugh about it they are within their rights. You're the one who just labeled all of these people losers with a pathetic existence. Also, you discredited your authority regarding what is right and wrong by using the word "irregardless." Get a dictionary

I'll give props for effort . A person can be honest and sincere and still be terrible. Doesn't change the fact it was a poor performance.

How can a person listen to the words without hearing a voice?
There is nothing wrong with singing like that in the pew where voices can blend and maybe hide the inefficiencies.
My favorite part was when the camera person muttered Oh God in the middle of the song.

A true encouragement. The commanding way he gripped the song, even without hitting every "perfect" note was a pure blessing.
At least his mother probably told him he did a good job when bath time reared it's ugly head that evening.
