Also parts are cheaper on 2strokes. Just replaced whole top&bottom end broke it in now runs like a dream starts 1st kick used to have trouble but then found out my fuel line got punctured in a crash w/ another atv head on

@Yehooize im the same as you and i have full control over the bike and if they have a problem it is alot cheaper to repair than a 4 stroke and it is a lot easier to start if you crash and they require less maintenance than a 4 stroke

@barnchips i have a 1998 yz 125 and same for me! never really needed any maintenance. and ALWAYS starts on the first or second kick, rips like hell. and i'm not sure but the guy i bought it from said he did work to the engine and i know it it completely rebuilt but he said that it was some sort of gearing secret he found while racing and the bike does over 60 in 2nd gear.. it has 6 gears.
