I don't know why everyone trashes the sequels. JP3 was my favorite. Plus, the sequels actually had more action sequences when you add them up. The first one was classic, but I think the sequels had better scenes. The only big action scenes in the first one were the t-rex with the car, and the raptor chase in the building. Still liked the movie though
I think all three films are excellent, and will have to buy this landmark series on Blu-Ray. I still remember hiking all the way to the cinema to see JP as a young boy. A magical film that rocked the foundations of Cinema back in the early 90s.
There was no need for JP3, and didn't answer enough about the Spinosaurus and Ingen, but the film is well made and if nothing else - very enjoyable!
I went in thinking "its milking it" but was surprised how, despite the lack of a decent excuse for the film, that the JP standards from the first two movies were upheld. A great human cast, spirited music and a perfect blend of animatronics and CGI for the Dinosaurs. For giving us a good film, I can let them off the hook... ^_^
I pray that they do a better job at this than Stevens War of The Worlds, which was so grainy it was like having sand on your screen!! Here's hoping, only 50 bucks for all 3 so i'm worried. :(
I was born in 1993 and I drive a 93 Ford Explorer just like in the movie (well the movie used 92' I think, but it's the same model), and when I'm driving it I pretend that there are dinosaurs roaming around.

I loved how in the first movie, most of the dinosaurs were done by actually fucking creating them (true to size), which is as hardcore and legit as you can get!
if you have read it the BOOK ,the original NOVEL you must know that ALL THE STUFF you saw on the 3 movies it´s from there. That´s WHY I LOVE THIS 3 MOVIES, Cant wait!

Went to see this in the cinema yesterday, brought back some of those childhood memories. the scene with the first encounter with the brachiosaurus was the only part of cgi that looked outdated, the rest looked absolutely perfect
I'm really glad Steven Spielberg decided not to do any changes to this wonderful classic trilogy unlike the infamous George Lucus's Star Wars changes and Steven's regretful changes towards E.T because of fans reaction towards his changes. Way to go Steven! Very Bless!

@MrSupermanDrummer park 3 sucked. it was all cg compared to the first two which made robotics to make it believable instead of relying on cg.it also wasnt directed by Spielberg himself . and the first 2 had morals to the story while jurassic park 3 was just dr grant getting paid to go to an island and save a kid for this couple.
JP1 still has some of the best CG I've ever seen. I think more modern films should mix CG with puppets. JP3 looks like crap compared to the first one.
I hope they sell the first movie individually later on since I already have the Ultimate Collection on DVD and I don't enjoy the sequels as much as the original. Heres hoping.
As A rather BIG fan of Jurassic Park , I am honestly glad to see the film FINALLY hit Blu Ray. About 15 years ago this film more or less helped change Hollywood by helping introduce visual effects and sound and just to be able to see this film in full restored 1080 P quality will surely be a treat. I wished these films were to be sold individually, but I will deal with the boxed set.

@Jort007 No, I know it because I watched some Dinosaur shows like Jurassic Fight Club, Mega-Beast, Walking with Dinosaurs, etc. The theory made by Paleontologist are most likely to be true. Also, there are a lot of false information in the film Jurassic Park; such as, Velociraptors actually have feathers and Spinosaurus couldn't kill a T-Rex.
@Kill4redemptioN Okay, but how would you be able to see from bones, if a creature has good eye sight? Exaclty, you couldn't. Smell is another story. And there are lots of diferent theories, it's not like there is a big majority that hangs on to one theory most of the time. Like the velociraptor having feathers, that's still widely discussed. And I don't believe anyone would see the JP movies for realistic info about dinosaurs, cause it's a hollywood movie, obviously it's not realistic.
@Jort007 Well, there are actually no right and wrong from both of our perspective since they are all theories that Paleontologist made. But I am not questioning your perspective and you should not question mine either. Also, Paleontologist scan the skull of dinosaurs to determine their brain size and what part of the brain is more developed. Paleontologist discovered feathers fossil next to Velociraptor fossils; that is evidence that they're close to birds than reptiles.
Really love all the Jurassic Park films so exciting though still think the first one was the best. Roll on the forth one which is out either 2012 or 2013 funny feeling 2013 as it will be 20 years from the very first one but anyway BRING IT ON!

They should have kept the Audio at 5.1, because that was what Jurassic Park originally used.

I'm really glad Steven Spielberg decided not to do any changes to this wonderful classic trilogy unlike the infamous George Lucus's Star Wars changes and Steven's regretful changes towards E.T because of fans reaction towards his changes. Way to go Steven! Very Bless!

@MrSupermanDrummer park 3 sucked. it was all cg compared to the first two which made robotics to make it believable instead of relying on cg.it also wasnt directed by Spielberg himself . and the first 2 had morals to the story while jurassic park 3 was just dr grant getting paid to go to an island and save a kid for this couple.

JP1 still has some of the best CG I've ever seen. I think more modern films should mix CG with puppets. JP3 looks like crap compared to the first one.

As A rather BIG fan of Jurassic Park , I am honestly glad to see the film FINALLY hit Blu Ray. About 15 years ago this film more or less helped change Hollywood by helping introduce visual effects and sound and just to be able to see this film in full restored 1080 P quality will surely be a treat. I wished these films were to be sold individually, but I will deal with the boxed set.
I just cannot wait to be able to experience these films in my home theater

@Jort007 No, I know it because I watched some Dinosaur shows like Jurassic Fight Club, Mega-Beast, Walking with Dinosaurs, etc. The theory made by Paleontologist are most likely to be true. Also, there are a lot of false information in the film Jurassic Park; such as, Velociraptors actually have feathers and Spinosaurus couldn't kill a T-Rex.

@Kill4redemptioN Okay, but how would you be able to see from bones, if a creature has good eye sight? Exaclty, you couldn't. Smell is another story. And there are lots of diferent theories, it's not like there is a big majority that hangs on to one theory most of the time. Like the velociraptor having feathers, that's still widely discussed. And I don't believe anyone would see the JP movies for realistic info about dinosaurs, cause it's a hollywood movie, obviously it's not realistic.

@Jort007 Well, there are actually no right and wrong from both of our perspective since they are all theories that Paleontologist made. But I am not questioning your perspective and you should not question mine either. Also, Paleontologist scan the skull of dinosaurs to determine their brain size and what part of the brain is more developed. Paleontologist discovered feathers fossil next to Velociraptor fossils; that is evidence that they're close to birds than reptiles.

Really love all the Jurassic Park films so exciting though still think the first one was the best. Roll on the forth one which is out either 2012 or 2013 funny feeling 2013 as it will be 20 years from the very first one but anyway BRING IT ON!
