The controls are the same for the Elites as the Spartans in Halo 2 and 3. Its just the player that determines bad or good.

It is true that some good players are elites, but if you're destroying as an elite, you would completeley massacre as a spartan. It is a known fact that elites heads are ENORMOUS; as well as their bodies. The only positive thing about being elite is that they can't be sniped in the head from behind, but their bodies are so huge that two sniper shots will bring em' down anyways. So I recommend being a spartan if you wish to play to your full potential.
