No offense to anyone, but Curt could obliterate Kendall in a talent competition. I saw Curt as Gabe in Next to Normal and he was dynamite. I'm sure Kendall couldn't do live theatre for 8 months straight and sound perfect live while he's at it. Plus, Curt is better looking.

Maybe they feel that Kendall's better at being the leader of the group, who knows? And they didn't want Curt to feel bad about not being cast anymore, so they gave him a guest spot. Nobody knows. All that matters is Curt is replaced by Kendall. Think before you call someone as stupid.

Logan, James and Carlos were the first 3 chosen by the creators to be a part of the show. I think they had trouble deciding who should play the leader of the band. Before the found Kendall, they shot a pilot for the show, deciding on hiring Curt for it. (cont)

So in the end, Curt got replaced by Kendall, but is given a small role as Dak Zevon. Why Logan had long hair? I think it's because they shot this pilot before he got his haircut x) haha, and by the time they shot the REAL pilot (the one with Kendall), he got a haircut, so obviously it got shorter. It's not that big a deal really :)

@blackshadow725 Have you read the description? This is just a pilot they shot right before Kendall was ever cast. This pilot was never aired, and as you can see Curt was playing Kendall's role, but right after Kendall was cast it means Curt is replaced by Kendall. So this was just a test shoot I suppose. It has never aired on tv.

I really like the new Big time rush with Kendall no offense for Curt but Big time rush is better with Kendall as a hockey passionate , James as usual cool , logan as usual and Carlos with helmet ... There's nothing wrong with it, I kinda perfer this only a tiny bit, because they all look kinda similar, and less distinguished and seems less Nick and more TeeNick, and the shaggy look is absolutely amazing, I don't see why they didn't just keep it?

But the problems I found were that the song was so outkept and unharmonized that it sounded digitized, and you can tell how big the difference is without Kendall's amazing voice, and Gustavo seems lest strict so everything is outta character here
