Makes more sense now that Chris looked so Buff, because he looks buff in RE5 too, he should have always looked buff!

I found out in comparison the Saturn version looks more ugly than the PlayStation version.
I wonder why the PlayStation version didn't have this mode?

yea man.....but in the psx version,directors cut he insnt that bulky...IMO in the its the vest he got on that makes him big

Yes, 3D characters were displayed a lot more "blocky" on Saturn than on PSX. That's because the Saturn had a lot more troubles to display 3D elements than the PSX. On the other hand, the Saturn was a lot better to display 2D elements than the PSX.

You won't believe me but I had RE on Saturn and I never knew there was a battle mode in this, until a few months ago or so, which is several years after I had the game. Sega did a good job with their port.

The animation is worse, but the textures are a little tighter than that of Playstation's version. One of the best games of all time, either way.
