I wanted to ask you how you made Amelie's thought bubbles in the scene where she hears her cat moving through the beaded curtain. Did you mask the shot before you blurred the edges or were you able to completely blur the edges of the frame off without doing that?

I haven't watched this movie before, I came here by word of mouth for the pure technical beauty of this vid and I have to say it's simply amazing!!
