  • Nice job , i put an esu v4.0 in an old fleischmann class 218 loco it made a big improvement at slow running speeds like you say , thanks jim

  • Nice to see another fan of the old Alco RS engines.

SO sick of seeing SD-70s and ES40/44s.

  • As a correction it should out that this engine is not an RS 3 but an RSD 4/5 a six axle version on an RS frame

  • @cvgeeps Yes, Sir. Thank you.

  • beautiful RS-3

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! АК)))

  • Another beautiful job Alex. But I would expect nothing less from the best.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

  • Nice RS-3 looks like HO-Scale perfect ! I have an old Atlas RS--3 D&H Dark Blue in N-Scale DC

I always like your videos Alex but do you do any HOW-TOs ?

  • @mrmartyman7 Thank you, It is HO loco. Yes this is will be my summer project.

  • @mercenary454 It is Ring Engineering Flashing Rear End Devices there is link in the description to the our online store or go to DCCTRAIN .COM search for the Flashing Rear End Devices

  • Alex, What kind of resistor you recommend to wire in series with a 8ohm 1watt speaker?

  • @njtcoastline Why resistor?

  • @dcctrain Sound file is very basey, sound file for a F40-PH, When HEP kicks on, speaker draws too much and causes soundbug to reset.

  • @dcctrain try 2,6 or 8 ohms also reduce volume.

  • how much would you charge to install dcc & sound to a atlas classic ho scale alco rs-3 and a older kato rs-3? I use a digitrax dcc system.

  • I like it Alex. Kevin

  • Looks and sounds great !! Really nice enginesound when it accelerates ;o)
