The point I was making is that about 40,000 % (yes forty thousand percent) more Americans have died from Cancer than from Terrorism from 2001 to 2007.

Chris Mathews actually likes Ron Paul and agrees with a lot of what Ron Paul says, especially when it comes to our Forgien Policy. If you watch Chris you can find that he doesn't take sides often; no matter who the candidate he grills or praises them when deserved.

The point I was making is that about 40,000 % (yes forty thousand percent) more Americans have died from Cancer than from Terrorism from 2001 to 2007.
Meanwhile, the federal govt. has spent 40,000 % more money on fighting terrorism than on fighting Cancer in the same amount of time.
How can ANYONE justify this?? It's OUR money they are using to fund this war, and WE are the ones dying from cancer and NOT terrorism.

~$500 billion spent on Iraq/Afghan
~$1.2 billion spent on researching cancer
My figures on Cancer may not be correct, I suggest you look them up for yourself and make your own decision on them, but I can guarantee the funding is nowhere close to that of the war on terror.

Your point is worth considering, but I feel compelled to note that my perception is that cancer funding via the Establishment (fedgov or ACS or other "mainstream" entities) is 100% wasted. Those entities are actively suppressing real cures because actually curing a disease is not profitable.
