  • Music has an emotional appeal, giving it life. Imagine a story to go along with what you're playing... and composers put dynamics in a song for a reason.

  • spazzychick77 couldn't be more correct. You were a little bit flat and you need to work on your Vibrato how to do it, and where it is approprate to use it, other then that, great job :)

  • intonation, intonation, intonation

  • Don't listen to all these for ur vibrato....the vibrato will sound nice to us only if u play with feeling ...this is what cello needs ...Every cellist must have his own vibrato which match with him :) Calm and it will come alone...Good luck i am waiting for a new video :)

  • you are cool, man

  • tips:

concentrate on making ur vibrato wider

tone quality (its a bit too sharp and forced)

    some tuning issues

make sound smoother (or is it just the cello?)

when u get to thumb position, make sure to improve intonation on the way down

k, i kno this goes on forever, but overall, its not too bad...little more than mediocre...

  • Scrap the cello and play the piano ...u play so much better on the piano.....

  • a little bit flat and less vibrato

  • i really wanna see how bad u did in the swan..

    HE HE >:)

  • im playing this song too.. u need 2 work on ur:

    vibrato

    intonation

    dynamics

    shifts

    trills

    how u handle the bow

  • o kurwaaaa

  • Very nicely player. Work on developing a more stable vibrato and watch the intonation (tends to go sharp at times). Musically well done. Phrasing is good too. Nice job.

  • not, bad. Good feeling. Just work on being less tense and widening that vibrato a bit.

  • wow ...im actually impressed by the amount youve improved since i saw you play the swan. You have to totally work on your vibrato. BUT AWESEOME!

  • omg. you suck.. lol

  • lol yeah

  • i'm glad your cello didn't explode.

    like poor gothicducks.

  • Oh I'm playing this piece too and I'm playing the second movement also. I think your intonation is still sothing you should work on and you should relax both hands becouse they seem to be quite uptight. All in all I think this was a good performance. How many years do you play the cello??

  • any tips on the eccles sonata for cello? i just started it and have to have it ready for a competition in a month!!!!!

  • better work on your tuning and intonation there bro

  • Ooh! Very pretty.

  • It was wonderful!! Thank you, Robert, I was very touched and so glad you did this.
