  • so unfortunate. Avirmediin ENkhee is the best and became the champion in 1985.

  • For me Enkhee is always the best and Worldchampion

  • It was communist period and mostly russians enforced many mongolian athletes to give up scores especially in world cup and olympic matches. This is one of darkest part of communist time in Mongolia.

  • Wow is right. He should have been clearly ahead by way more points but obviously had a mental lapse.

  • wow

  • Great match! Mistake by Enkhe in giving up the final takedown.

  • It is one of the saddest moments for me and my friends in middle school that Enkhe was lost to the russian wrestler. we were in a middle school in the western mongolian province Khovd where Enkhe and his twin brother Taivan (who is also a famous wrestler) were born. Kids at school could not forget the match for a long time.

I hate these BIASED judges of FILA!!!

  • V daleke boleet Damninsharav bagsh!

  • Wow Mongolian won already

  • one obvious thing is that those referees were doing favor for USSR! In a real fair match Mongolian guy would have won!

  • they should show this one to kids with the caption "don't give up easy points". What the hell was Mongolia lying down like that when Russia nearly turned him 10 seconds earlier?

  • Still does not excuse the biased/incompetent refereeing. Enkhe may have been trying to play defence because any offence on his part may have been scored for the Russian.

  • thats heartbreaking
