They hate things that are better or hate things that they don't understand it. Hate is a very bothersome thing so you should instead love and promote compassion.
You are right Rinsuki, "Hate is a very bothersome thing!' Zigel is just too jealous about somebody being a star. And I also agree with Nlteresa, if u hate her singing, why bother to follow her everywhere. We all pity Zigel!
