There a few jackasses on ebay trying to sell the 69 for $450 -I had the 69 its alright ,nothing to write home about-there's way better fuzzes out the for way less $ trust me.

Nice demo man, thanks. I have the earliest version of the 69 w the creme knobs, a fuzz factory and a lovetone, was thinking about trying the octafuzz. I think you sold me on it. Sweet Firebird btw!

I have both too, use the octafuzz more though, its got a lot more fun factor. They aren't making the 69 anymore, value on them is going up.

@PoteetoChips Not true as of 2 weeks ago.. he patched things up with the transistor company that made the germaniums for the old 69s and 69 Slight Returns.. he's gonna start building new small box(ocd sized) 69's, like he did with the 70, in a few weeks called the 69 mkII.. same specs as the originals

I wonder why Fulltone is doing that, just completely stops producing certain effects. It's not like they are at a loss for parts. Even if they are, they can just make their own like they do with most their stuff. Maybe Mike's a forum-dweller and likes to see the price of his effects skyrocket. I wouldn't doubt it as he seems to be an egomaniac. Makes good effects though, I just bought his DV-2 which is now discontinued.

i think usually when companies discontinue stuff it's because they have something coming out that they think is better and they wouldn't want competition for their new product.

i actually read somewhere that he stopped making them because he couldn't get some of the components he used anymore, due to quality issues or something. he will make more he said if he can get the components again
