Christianity is not seperate from Judaism--IT IS Judaism--the Jewish Messiah said "Salvation is of the JEWS", Paul specifically stated that Gentiles who believe in the jewish God and Messiah become Sons of Abraham. Judaism is not only a religion. You can be atheist and still be a Jew. You can be antisemitic and still be a Jew. I know exactly what it is. As a member of a Jewish Modern-Orthodox community I can say that someone who marries a non-Jew will (probably, depending on their family) be cut off, but they will still be considered Jewish.

@Freesibs Sorry I ran out of room....Jesus first 12 deciples were all Jewish.ACTS 11:26 in the bible says, And the Deciples were called CHRISTIANS first in Antioch. You can call yourself christian if you want or you call yourself a Messianic Jew if you want people to know you are a Jewish Beleiver.But you will always be "Jewish" Gods CHOSEN people.Your not betraying God.You are telling HIM,I BELEIVE IN YOUR SON and the MESSIAH you gave your people at the very beginning.

@TheChristianforver As much as I respect your religion, I have to say, I can't agree with it. The concept that God would have a human child is unforgivable blasphemy to me, and I completely agree with my forefathers for not accepting Jesus. The NEW testament says that Jesus was given to the Jews by God. The Torah doesn't say it, and as a Jew I can't accept the idea of Jesus. Those who did throughout history were converted to Christianity. Those who didn't were persecuted.

@andreilucaci81 First thing's first, I'm not your man, I'm a woman. Second thing, yes, they were Jews, but they created a new faith, Christianity. Those who believed in their ways became the first Christians. They left Judaism for Jesus. That's okay, but it's important to remember that Christians today are no more Jewish than Muslims or Hindus. Therefore, if a Jew believes in Jesus, again I ask, why is he not simply Christian? What makes Jews for Jesus Jewish?

@Freesibs Ok mylady listen up.You compare jews and christians but today jews are nation and not faith lakie chtistianity,there are jews atheists so by logic they cannot be called jews but they are because of their blood and not because their faith,actualy more wright to call us hebrews but it doesn't metter..I am jew|jebrew because of blood not because of faith but i believe in new testament so by my faith i am christian.

@andreilucaci81 So what you're saying is you're Jewish by birth, but you believe in Christianity. Don't you consider yourself Christian then? Why be a part of Judaism if you believe in another religion? I know it's a culture and a nation, but the only people who are really a part of it in my opinion are those who either believe in it, or who at least don't believe in a whole other religion.
