I think it could be problematic for the dog running without getting the cooling wind in the face and specially the toung.?!? The toung is the only thing afaik with what they can reduce their bodytemperature.

@buerger3 Actually dogs sweat through their tongues AND the pads of their paws. One dog trainer I once knew wise-cracked that God played a trick on them when it came to the locations of their sweat glands. If any of you use doggie boots for your dog in snowy weather, be sure to remove them as soon as possible after they get back inside. And don't leave them on for hours, even if they are outside for that entire time.

That's a good idea for people who live in the hotter states. Just get a treadmill and let them run. I'm in AZ and want one soooo bad, but it gets so freakin hot here. I'd have to keep him/her indoors a lot (not too fun for an energetic dog)

At least she didin't fall off. Once my dog tried to walk on it, and once he decidet to get off he was so scared that instead of stopping he sped up. After that i had to cary that heavy black dog (i wanted to say something else but he's just so cute) to the car.
