@PondusNorge -- This is a serial input, 8N1, but it's TTL True. Inasmuch, a MAX232/MAX233 (or similar) is required between it and a PC (TX out). You could then send it data from Hyperterminal or other terminal app. The VFD shown is connected to a microcontroller, its output data is TTL True; BasicStamp2, PICAxe, and other such are widely available.
Where can I find the software and blueprints to connect a display like this to my computer???
