SO SHAME, that this game has so crappy AI and slow tempo.. I mean when you go like 100 miles per hour it seems like 50.. The AI doesnt even have same physics as you do.. Im so pissed, because I was so excited about this game and now its not wort buying. Gotta wait until its ~30€ at the sale..

This game is rubbish. The music sucks, the tracks are not clearly defined that's wy they need those stupid arrows to show you where to go and every time you pass through a check point the screen turns white which is very distracting and extremely annoying. Oh and it's a Motorstorm rip off. The title sucks too! Wait maybe it's short for Fucked Up Every Level?!

Why are people complaining about the realism? Does every game need to be realistic or something? Take Team Fortress 2 for example. That's one of the best FPS' out there, yet it's not realistic at all.

And about the sound. If everyone hates the sound effects so much, i'm sure there'll be a patch to make them more "realistic".

Dude i agree, i think its a racing thing though, but still they just expect too much sometimes, personally realistic games get on my tits, too serious. I just want a some fun and this game certainly looks it :)

ah, realism. well if i drive a bike or a car in a game, i expect it to handle like one....

making unrealistic handling fun is extremely difficult, you have to catch the balance between 'fun' and 'stupid'.

i think midnight club got it spot on... this game looks like it didn't.

but i'll be testing it tomorow, so my opinion might change...

But I don't always want realistic handling, so I play games like Burnout.

I've cancelled my pre-order for Fuel though. I got fed up with Codemasters messing around with the UK PC release date.

yea, i like both realistic and unrealistic driving games (altho it sometimes realism helps make the experience more immersive and provides a challange).

midnight club and burnout (not paradise, the handling there seems a bit.. off) are great examples of games without realistic handling. there's no way you would be able to cruise at 200mph during rush hour in la..

as for codemasters... i feel like they messed up the handling on a bunch of their games( grid, cmr dirt..) just didn't feel right..

if anything its the other way around, the story is the least important thing in this game. Its all about the massive terrain and online multiplayer anyways which looks amazing.

They shouldn't even make a story line for racing games, just doesn't go down well.

well, (bout the sounds) considering that people made these cars out of scratch and stuff after they wanted to make cars to race with, they made em unlike manufacturuares. so if you think about it, it kind of makes sense about why the sounds are like that. at least it does to me.

motorstorms tracks are small. fuel tracks are 5000 miles to the side and 5000 forward. Every tracks is in the same 5000 square mile world, thats over 100 times bigger than any other console game.
