Is it just me, or does the jangling guitar towards the beginning of the track sound an awful lot like the "Out from Egypt" instrumental by Sufjan Stevens?
@DamonAlbarnFan You are in fact very right, but you cant really compare any band to sonic youth. Their potential for vocals is pure raw emotion, No vocal skill needed.. and this band is all about improve aswell. Things tend to become to unreal if they are too practiced and polished.
@DamonAlbarnFan Alice in Chains has nothing to do with anything about this track, they're a fine band but have no idea what a quarter tone is and do not know that much about what creativity is.
Good stuff I love when i get to hear new youth tracks! You can get a hint of their early jams out of this one. Sonic can play in that off key note and control distortion like no other, This is so New York it's got a funky spoken word feel to it.
