Yup, if you want the mega forms. Plus D-terminal if you want Miracle/kindness armor forms.

However, it's possible to beat the game with only the adult form unlocked. Takes a bit of luck but it's very possible.

hey i have the same digivice in blue/white hawkmon/gatomon ;) is there a way to get other digimon? with tricks/cheats whatever? I heard it from the american ones

nope, you can only get Gatomon or Hawkmon for the Japanese one

I love my American D-3 Digivices to death because they're pretty much a big part of my childhood, but dang. I wish Bandai sacrificed cheapness for quality.

I think the US one was slightly smaller. I was slightly disappointed that this colour scheme was less show accurate though lol.

I sort of understand the decision to water it down. This thing retailed for something like $25-30. Don't know how many parents would actually buy that for their kids haha.

That's a good point. But still! Haha. As I remember the American D-3 was twelve bucks. They could have upped it like, three bucks to at least make it look nicer....make it look like the Japanese version. lol

Unfortunately, you have to use the Japanese one =( I have actually never seen one on eBay before lol. The few that are on Yahoo!Japan are WAY overpriced compared to what I got one for ._.

Oh man, I so do really want one, the english ones are so tacky and cheap. The screen in my digivice kept fading away, so I took it apart and screwed down the circuit board tighter. Word of advice: never open up a digivice! the wires connecting the circuit board to the sound broke off as they were really thin. Luckily, I can fix it lol. Where can I get a cheaper japanese d terminal? i dont want to pay £40 for one! :(

Haha, that's basically what happened to my english D-3. Stupid flimsy wires, but I don't think I've touched that thing in years so it's not like it mattered lol.

There really is no place that stocks them, much less at a reasonable price. They're just too rare to find on any sort of English website =(

Hiya, I have this exact Digivice. Is it supposed to sound like the english digivice when you shake it? Because mine sounds a bit clunky.

I think the English one makes a sharper sound than the dull sound the Japanese one makes. There's definitely a noticeable difference.

I liked the digivice becuase you could scan your hand -_-..... lol!

They should make a digimon world game for the psp, then make a digivice for it that can connect to the psp. Like they did with the japanese d3 and the Wonderswan games :)

That's not even counting the fact that this is just for Wormmon and Veemon. If you want everyone else.... fork over money for 4 more D-3s :D

You need a Wonderswan + connector cable + Tag Tamers/D-1 Tamer game AND you need to actually raise an ultimate digimon on the game. Then you Jogress/DNA digivolve the ultimates to get a mega lol.

And do u have to have at least 2 digivices to obtain certain digimons like those fused ones

I haven't beaten the game on this particular digivice. I've beaten it on my blue/green one though. You only get Wormmon and Veemon + all their forms on this version.

Yes, you do need at least 2 digivices to obtain ultimate level digimon like paildramon.
