Well, in reply, i do listen to a lot of jimmy eat world / millencolin / pop punk, so i guess i wanted to try a different style out !!! I dont listen to JUST hardcore punk sounding stuff, so i dont think there's anything wrong with that. !!! if you dont like it thats fine... i write the music for myself !! if others like / dislike.... so be it. oh and one more thing, i dont care if im considered 'punk' or not !!! i'm myself... and thats all that counts to me.

And personally, I listen to a little bit of Pop Punk too. Heck, I used listen to the Jonas Brothers (now that's terrible).

My problem was just that it didn't just sound like a Pop Punk, it sounded so much like Blink 182 or Green Day, and I don't really consider those bands Pop Punk anymore, their just Rock.

I mainly disliked it cause reminded me of 2 bands who sold out.
