I accidentally deleted the reply post. They need to put the remove link in a different spot. So, I'm replying like this so that everyone is aware of the original response. You wrote: "eh sorry i wrote that before I finished watching this, not so bad when its over." It's no problem. You're entitled to your opinion, no matter at what point you watch the video. And I respect that. Again, I apologize for the choppiness. It's a drawback of using Fraps. Thank you for watching and your time. :)
Fire up the killdozer! Hell yeah! I agree. They were meant to be bad like the old b movie films of the 70's. Both were good from the standpoint of recreating the style of movie from back then. What bothered me the most about planet terror was the film comming back in after the sex scene. I think there should have shown what took place in the bonus features.
Yeah. But still, I like the scratches and the degrading effect in both films, because its both a part of the film's style as much as it is an aesthetic thing.
But both films were designed to look like they had gone through multiple runs. Plus, there are parts of the film that Rodriguez acknowledges were on purpose to help add to the story (for example, how the film becomes warped when Bruce Willis' character changes, signfying the degrading of the character. Another one, a more obvious one, is the film burning up during the sex scene).
Actually, I used a gift card. Plus, I like both "Grindhouse" movies and like each film in the experience for different reasons (for "Planet Terror", because it's like a lost John Carpenter movie. For "Death Proof", because of the fact that it is meant to be a B-grade slasher with cars {or would it be a "crasher" film?]).
@argentinafriesz39 Thank you. :)
