Actually when he said it was initial descent which is followed by the approach? Heavies don't glide, that would imply removal of all thrust and the plane would descend faster than needed! Just pointing that out.

I took that plane from Los Angeles to Sydney .. it was a 15 hour flight. and Delta is an amazing Cooperation! :D I love how their flights aren't bumpy no matter what seat you sit it, and their flight attendents are very polite and you have you're personal screens and a large selection of movies! beautiful plane. I loved it.

It looks like to me, that the First Class on your Delta flight, looks lower in class and quality than the Emirates A380 Buisness class.. You get more on their business class flights
