  • Looks heavy and slow to respond. Also too long.

  • Whats the point raising the percentage of receiving a puncture, entailing more costs? This is a typical case of - less is more!

  • Have you tried using electric hub motors?

  • Slap some paddles on it and that'd be great for the hill climbers!

  • seems to me the bike only have one wheel steering....not very practical to steer...

  • Nice work! keep the ideas coming guys.

  • Pop a wheelie!

  • Have you tried it above 40 or 50 km/h? How does the back wheel reacts above that speeds? It's a good concept, good luck!

  • Id rather crash and die on my 2wheel honda than be seen on that thing

  • FOR WHAT

  • Bizarre!

  • this bike would handle like shit, shocks would be crap. why do people invent stupid shit.

  • oh you're cool

  • Yeah, but will it blend?

  • The one thing I like about this design is what it would be good for...... Fuck All

  • Hmmm!

  • turns like a semi trailer!!!

  • now how the fuck are we gonna wheelie with an extra wheel

  • well, it works! i'll give yeh ' that, but would it really be all that practical?..

  • What is the point of the third wheel??? Other than making you look like an idiot...

  • I love how people think that stuff like this is going to help with the future. Adding the third wheel just adds to the inefficiency of the motorcycle. Either a new motor should be invented or a mono wheel motorcycle that actually works is in our future. And i guess if people choose the mono wheel their just going to have to learn to balance better.

  • This concept has been successfully developed long before in India, a place called udaipur. you will see an 3 wheel bike in a movie call Golmaal that came out in the year of 2006. So, You fool you are not the first one. Hahahahahahah, you just stole the idea.

  • the rear wheel has a drive chain, but it's on a pretty bouncy swing arm with no weight on it. does it really provide that much more traction? it just looks like a useless appendage to a normal bike, no offense

  • DO A FLIP!

  • are you sure this will ever sell? cuz i dont see any1 riding one of thoose in ever!

  • For extremly poor roads it might be helpful to have 3 or 4 wheels in a row. Not only 2. Just to really make sure that there is always enough traction.

  • ok, now wheelie with the second!

  • The concept motorcycle was built to prove the principle of in-line three wheel with two wheel drive two wheel steering and suspension that allows each wheel to move up independently. The concept works as the video shows. This version is not intended for high speed but it is possible to use the third wheel to stabilize instabilities. Thanks to all who have viewed and/or commented on this video.

  • these bikes work in theory, and it appears that yours actually works, it would be better with the middle tire under you more, but the engineering behind that is a whole other level. I think yours is a sick design. how does it handle at higher speeds, or does it only excel in adverse condidtions?

  • Interesante aunque poco práctico, mejor que tener tres ruedas sería tener tracción en dos ruedas, eso sí sería genial ^^

  • i mean pretty cool that u made that, but i dont really see the need for a third wheel on the motorcycle, whats the point of the third wheel?

  • So whats the point?

  • looks like a bullshit!

  • You could run two different tires/treads to take advantage over changing conditions on the track. One of these would rock in an enduro, but you'd have to chop the weight a lot.

  • Awesome

  • Very nice engineering my friend ;)

  • Watch your nut sack doing Superman.

  • I see this in the Dakar rally in the future. One of the biggest problems is they tend to get stuck in very soft sand. An extra drive wheel should be able to combat this problem because the load is distributed over 3 wheels instead of two.

  • TRUCKOCYCLE LOL

  • Put some nobbys on that thing and take it to a hill climb

  • I dunno... This is like a having a trailer on the back. But its just a wheel!

  • whats the point of having the third wheel??????

  • so you can sit a family of three

  • Some very creative engineering. A chain driven STEERING wheel, I bow my head with respect! I would like to see a closeup of that! It beats me fair enough! O:-)

  • try a christini...

  • Your not proving anything riding in the grass. But at least you didn’t set the third wheel in the middle of the chassis. Now “IF” your third wheel had independent traction to the road it would work. It would be a monster hill climber.

  • since bikes already have plenty of traction, the 3rd driven wheel doesn't really serve any purpose. not a smart design...

  • Interesting concept. I honestly don't see the benefit but I do like it from an engineering standpoint. :)

  • I haven't tried a burnout yet. Smoking the two tyres could double the effect and a two ring donut would be good, but with all that traction it will be difficult to keep the front wheel stationary.

  • will it do a burnout

  • does it get dangerous the faster you go ?

  • hmmm... I think this is a 3 wheeled motorcycle the same way that a car pulling a trailer is a 6 wheeled car.

  • So now you need to steer the rear most wheel also. You must also drive it. I want to see you flat track it with the front wheel turned right and the rear turned left going around a left hand turn.

  • why?

  • The two wheel drive provides extra traction which is useful when road conditions are poor. With the rear wheel steering as well as the front, the front wheel is less likely to "wash" out when cornering on poor surfaces, the rear driven and steered wheel helps to turn the vehicle. Why? A similar question was asked about 4x4s!

  • una mierda tu tricicleta

  • @clevername333 The reasons for having 4wd on a 4-wheeled vehicle are obvious. The reasons for putting 3 wheels on a motorcycle are anything but. You're comparing apples and oranges.

  • do a wheelie

  • Not with this one as its too heavy, but perhaps with the next. With the two rear wheels driven it would be a two staged wheelie, front wheel first, then the middle!

  • And the point is????

  • Sweet! How does this perform compared to the original? I guess adding the extra wheel at the back makes the front wheel support more of the weight. I guess if you were designing this from scratch you'd try to move the centre of mass back somehow, or move the front wheel forwards, chopper style. Are you still working on this?

  • what is the advantages and disadvantages until 2 wheelies?plz respond.

  • I'm assuming increased lateral traction and improved launch traction are the main advantages.

But at the cost of extra weight? And it must make low speed handling difficult.

Great to see people innovating and trying new things though. It's one thing to look at it on paper, but you never really know until you build the thing and try it out. Nice work!
