Thanks a lot for your help, but i have another serious issue.
The record runs slow, i think it's the motor, also i orderder new turren and phono idler...I hope these cause the problem...Because if it's the motor, i really don't know what to do...i lubricate the motor and it's the same so if its runs slow i don't know what motor to find to replace for the 7hf4 model. If you know something of these things please help me..i LOVE my player...once again...THANKS!!!
I usually re-cap every player I get. If they don't need it right off the bat they will very very soon with any frequent use. From the symptoms you mention, that is exactly what you need to do, recap your player. It only costs about $5 in caps and is well worth it.
Because when i turn mine one after 2 or 3 minutes starts to destroy the sound.
I really don't know why? I think it's a capacitor or something...Because i changed the cardridge the same like yours and my player still have a hum and a distorted sound....if you know something about it help me, thanks!!!
Exellent record player, i have the same, but with the old sonotone cadridge and needle and sounds cranchy and NOT clear.. Could you please tell me how to change cadridge just like yours; because i've never done this again...and i don't know how...Thanks! :)
@JIMISPACEACE Hi, The cartridge is a Pfanstiehl P-228 from Gary and Voice Of Music on the web. Tell him Todd in Toledo sent you. It is a new production cart and needle that is the only thing that puts out close to the output the original Sonotone had.
