As the oldest "mofo" in that snare line, I do have to say it was almost more fun than winning the 1966 National Championship (at age 14!). I plan on being out there wearing the green and black 15 years from now in the 75th Anniversary Corps. I'll be a young 71 at that time and will kick anybody's ass who thinks I'm too old to carry a drum! Right guys?
The Cavalier Anniv Corp (CAC) was exclusively former marching members representing all 60 yrs of our history. The drum book was unwatered original scores for all content. The drumming had challenges of dense oldschool rudimental to the current marbles-on-garbage lid ensemble stuff. Fun as heck!
You do also realise that the cavaliers are an all male drum corp right? They have been since they were created, so the alumni are going to be...all male
